Art Quality Rules

Your MYO will be your Li'uhn, and will be the main official reference on the Masterlist. Please keep this in mind when doing the artwork for your MYO
You MAY commission another artist to do the art of your character!
You MAY use a base, but it must be modified to fit the Li'uhn species traits.
A Li'uhn design should at least be a refined sketch that is flat colored (No visible sketch lines) to be acceptable for approval.
The artwork needs to be at least flat colored. If they are shaded, you should add color palettes to their reference.
While a refined sketch is allowed, the lines should be clean and straight. If it is clear that the artwork is rushed, you will need to refine it before being approved.
The artwork submitted needs to show some effort. If you are still learning, that's alright, you can explain that in the comment.
Please put effort into the pose. The pose should show them from the front, though a front and back reference is acceptable!
Please try to be accurate to the anatomy. Stylization and artists still learning are alright, however, if the anatomy is very clearly off you will need to revise your entry to be approved.
If you are a traditional artist and prefer traditional media, make sure that it is scanned in or photographed cleanly. If you need help, you can ask another member to help with that.

Mandatory Markings/Colors

The hair, mane, tail and wings always match in color

Unless they are a different type or have a color mutation, Common Li'uhn and Woolies always have this in shades of red, sometimes ranging into a red orange. With a nice earthy terracotta red being the most common.
The trimming is always various shades of yellow and gold, ranging into a yellow-orange unless effected by a color mutation

The body and frill always match in color
The body and frill is always black or deep brown, though can be color tinted to flow with the body unless effected by a body color mutation.

Some color examples for Common Li'uhn and Woolies:

Free Markings
Li'uhn have several markings they can get, though there's a few special ones that can change these!

Trimming - Mandatory. The ends of the hair and mane down the back is trimmed in gold naturally, all Li'uhn other than the rare and elusive Shadowcloak have this. It is gold in Woolies, Common Li'uhn and Silverwings, white or light blue on Nightkin. It can effect striping, barring and spots. It should also at least show somewhere on the ends of the wings and on the tail. The only Li'uhn without trimming at all are albinos. Trimming can follow the shape of other markings. This can also create streaks of color in the Li'uhn's mane and hair. When expressing on the hair, it can be minimal, just around the bangs, or sometimes a streak of gold in the bangs or hair somewhere. It should at least appear along the feathers and on the end of the tail.

All Li'uhn are black or dark brown in body with white eyes unless effected by a color mutation. There are mutations that specifically effect the body, and others that effect the wings, tail, mane and hair.  Their eyes glow. This black or dark brown can be color tinted, but shouldn't be too saturated.

Markings on the body should be a different shade of the Li'uhn's body, meaning a common Li'uhn without a body color mutation would be in shades of black and grey.
Points - Either lighter or darker than the rest of the body on the points, IE, the arms, legs, face and frill. Can be soft edged or hard.
Belly - Lightening around the belly area. Can be soft or hard.
Striping - Striping on the body and wings. Should be a darker shade on the body and wings
Barring - Barring on the wings and feathers. This can be twotoned on Common Li'uhn, Silverwings and Woolies, a darker shade of their wing color (Or yellowish/soft golden for Silverwings), with a brighter gold layered with it.
Spots - Spotting, can be gold on the wings and tail
Freckles - Little specks found on the Li'uhn. Can be gold on the cheeks without requiring the Extended Markings trait.
Minimal White - Little patch of white on the chest or paws, should be small

Woolies can have a single rosette on their tail and one on each wing, but need the Rosettes marking to have any more. This can be light in the center, darker around the rim, with a spot towards the center and lined with gold
Silverwings can have a gradient on their golden markings, making them look metallic or gilded.
Shadowcloaks get markings around the eyes, like a tearmark, matching the trimming on their wings. Shadowcloaks have the Tendril feather mutation and the Anubian frill by default.
Nightkin have a moon or star on their forehead, and can get starry speckles on their body and wings. They have the tendril feather mutation by default.

Any common traits are free to add to a Li'uhn MYO!

Free Physical Traits
These do not need to be added as traits and are able to appear on any Li'uhn!

Fuzzies - They can have tufts of fur around their wrists, elbows, calves and ankles, though this should match the body color unless Feathering is present. Fringe of fuzz on the end of the tail. They can get a chest tuft, though without Feathering, this should match the body in color. The fur is usually longer around the shoulders and chest, giving them a soft look.
Pudgy Belly - Their belly isn't actually pudgy, this is due to the pouch! It makes their belly look round!
Cheek - Fur, this can come in various lengths. Li'uhn can even mostly lack this
Fur - Most Li'uhn have short fur by default, though it can be longer on the frill and the furred part of the wing and tail.
Tail Feathers - These will continue the feather mutations from the wings.
Mane - This can extend all the way to the end of the tail, or end anywhere on the tail. They can even lack the mane down the back and only have the bit on the shoulders.
