The ends of the hair and mane down the back is trimmed in gold naturally, all Li'uhn other than the rare and elusive Shadowcloak have this. It is gold in Woolies, Common Li'uhn and Silverwings, white or light blue on Nightkin. It can effect striping, barring and spots. It should also at least show somewhere on the ends of the wings and on the tail. The only Li'uhn without trimming at all are albinos. Trimming can follow the shape of other markings. This can also create streaks of color in the Li'uhn's mane and hair. When expressing on the hair, it can be minimal, just around the bangs, or sometimes a streak of gold in the bangs or hair somewhere. It should at least appear along the feathers and on the end of the tail.

All Li'uhn are black or dark brown in body with white eyes unless effected by a color mutation. There are mutations that specifically effect the body, and others that effect the wings, tail, mane and hair. Their eyes glow. This black or dark brown can be color tinted, but shouldn't be too saturated.

Markings on the body should be a different shade of the Li'uhn's body, meaning a common Li'uhn without a body color mutation would be in shades of black and grey.
Points - Either lighter or darker than the rest of the body on the points, IE, the arms, legs, face and frill. Can be gold on the cheeks without requiring the Extended Markings trait.
Minimal White - Little patch of white on the chest or paws, should be small

Woolies can have a single rosette on their tail and one on each wing, but need the Rosettes marking to have any more. This can be light in the center, darker around the rim, with a spot towards the center and lined with gold
Silverwings can have a gradient on their golden markings, making them look metallic or gilded.
Shadowcloaks get markings around the eyes, like a tearmark, matching the trimming on their wings. Shadowcloaks have the Tendril feather mutation and the Anubian frill by default.
Nightkin have a moon or star on their forehead, and can get starry speckles on their body and wings.

All Li'uhn are black or dark brown in body with white eyes unless effected by a color mutation. They can often be seen gliding and flying together, frolicking in the desert sands of their home, or curled up around eachother to keep warm during the cold desert nights. They get a lot of energy from companionship and being close to eachother. Li'uhn are capable of being alone, though they prefer the company of others. Li'uhn do have small retractable claws on their hands and feet, but these are not used for combat, and aren’t overly sharp. They use them to climb and cling, and to avoid slipping when landing. Their small fanged canines are also never used for combat, and are simply there because they are omnivorous.

Info Coming Soon

Reproduction

Li'uhn are all naturally intersex, though their appearance will follow what gender they identify as, as it effects their hormones. There isn’t much dimorphism, but the face and body structure does vary slightly. They never grow breasts, as their teats are located inside their pouch. Li'uhn go into season during the spring, and are pregnant through summer and early autumn. They give birth to a tiny baby, entirely hairless with no down or feathers, which is then placed in the pouch. It will remain inside the pouch, nursing and growing. As it gets bigger, it begins to leave the pouch, though is able to nurse even when not spending all of its time in the pouch. The baby spends the winter in the pouch, starts to peek its head out in the spring, and is able to come out during summer. They are too big to go into the pouch by the time they are two years old. Li'uhn have one baby at a time, and they won’t breed again until the baby is fully out of the pouch for at least a year. Only one baby can fit in the pouch. It is usually charcoal black but can appear various shades of brown. Darker “points” are common on the face, ears, and limbs. Their hair, wings and tail are usually a rusty red color, but never overly saturated. They usually have darker red markings on the tail and wings, with golden markings. The gold is never too bright, and usually less saturated and never clashes with the red. Their eyes are always white and glow, even in the dark. They only cease to glow when the Li'uhn is dead or dying, or in very serious danger of death. The frill ears are always the color of the skin. They can sometimes have golden markings on their skin and false ears as well, but this is fairly uncommon.

Clothing: Li'uhn love clothes in various shades of red and gold. They often have lots of flowing fabric covering their bodies, with a cloak to cover their back as they must strap the upper parts above and below their wings. Some choose to have a small opening around their pouch at all times, allowing them to place items in their pouch and carry them around. It’s usually held closed with a couple buttons, though it’s left open if they have a baby at the age where they can enter and leave the pouch at will.

Flight and Gliding: Li'uhn are incapable of sustained flight under their own power. Li'uhn store magical energy in their tail to boost their wings and allow them to take off and fly much further than they would otherwise. They can gain a lot of magical energy from companionship and can give eachother boosts with their song, so it is very common to see two Li'uhn singing back and forth, their golden markings lighting up and shimmering as they boost eachother’s flight. Their wings are structured somewhat like small bat wings, membranous with four fingers, one being the “thumb” with a single feather that helps control their steering in the air. The wings are covered in down with five pointed feathers at the end between the first and second “finger” and rounded feathers along the edge. The feathers on the tail allow them to steer. Many Lhuin seem to greatly enjoy flying and can be seen flitting from one great ruined tower to the other just for the fun of it.

Other Details: Li'uhn ears are actually and covered by their fur. They are simply openings, but they are connected to their frill, which resembles ears and is used for emoting and sensing the world around them. The frills are packed with energy sensing organs, are how they sense each other’s presence, as well as absorb any magical energy they are around to help feed them. They also seem to take in a majority of the sunlight, and as such are almost always uncovered. They are able to use their frill to find fellow Li'uhn. They have no opening and are often covered in longer fur than the body itself. Their paws are small and dainty, with three toes. Their claws only come out when climbing or gripping, but are otherwise kept retracted. They have a single thick pad on the bottom and webbing that allows their weight to spread out a bit more evenly. Li'uhn are very weak to the cold, and while they can curl up under their wings and tails, it drains their energy and eventually saps their strength until they freeze to death. They avoid the cold when they can. They can get through desert winters by sunning themselves during the day and curling up somewhere warm at night, but if it gets too cold they will move on to warmer climates. They are nomadic by nature, and usually wander from place to place as they see fit. They are most commonly seen in pairs or small groups, but they can just as well travel alone.

Their blood is gold in color.

The Li'uhn are a peaceful, winged humanoid race that lives in deserts, and thrive in hot and barren landscapes.

Can be soft edged or hard.
Belly - Lightening around the belly area. Can be soft or hard.
Striping - Striping on the body and wings. Should be a darker shade on the body and wings
Barring - Barring on the wings and feathers. This can be twotoned on Common Li'uhn, Silverwings and Woolies, a darker shade of their wing color (Or yellowish/soft golden for Silverwings), with a brighter gold layered with it.
Spots - Spotting, can be gold on the wings and tail
Freckles - Little specks found on the Li'uhn.

They have the tendril feather mutation by default.

Any common traits are free to add to a Li'uhn MYO!

Free Physical Traits
These do not need to be added as traits and are able to appear on any Li'uhn!

Fuzzies - They can have tufts of fur around their wrists, elbows, calves and ankles, though this should match the body color unless Feathering is present. Fringe of fuzz on the end of the tail. They can get a chest tuft, though without Feathering, this should match the body in color.
